Beware Nvidia – AMD Might Have a Turbo GPU to Rival the RTX 4090

AMD will soon reveal its newest Radeon graphics cards, the RX 7000 series, with a live stream November 3rd. We don’t know exactly which GPUs to expect from the event, but rumors have added a new contender to the lineup: a super-powerful flagship called the Radeon RX 7900 XTX.

This new speculation – which originated from the Taiwanese tech website bench life (opens in new tab) – replaces previous suggestions that the primary card would be the RX 7900 XT or 7950 XT. Instead, it looks like AMD may be keeping the updated ’50’ variants in reserve for the time being, potentially so they can arrive in 2023 with AMD’s second-gen 3D V-cache technology.
